Official unveiling of the sculpture by David Černý

The silhouette of a woman sitting on a high chair with rotating legs can be seen in front of the entrance to our Prague showroom in Hostivař. Czech artist, David Černý, together with Ahrend CEE MD, Jiří Kejval, unveiled the sculpture titled “Sekretářka” (the Secretary).

Our company has been connected with David Černý for a number of years and now we boast one of his works outside the Prague showroom. The wavy legs of the chair on which the Sekretářka sits rotate, which according to the artist symbolises the need to learn from mistakes. David Černý also informed us that the Sekretářka is the first in his planned series of works devoted to women in the workplace. The unveiling ceremony itself was also a great opportunity to meet again with our colleagues, clients and friends.
