Prestigious office in the heart of Prague

Baťa is a traditional Czech brand based on the elegance and comfort of its world famous footwear. It also pays similar attention to its office in the centre of Prague, where it has its international marketing department.

Tradition, elegance, comfort

We became involved in the project right from the early stages of preparing the architectural study, which we did in cooperation with architect Matěj Kosík of the firm Červený klobouk. Together we attempted to satisfy the wishes of the client for a prestigious, luxury office that would reflect its corporate culture and also incorporate into the interior individual products of the company. Initially the most important thing was to listen carefully not just to the ideas of the management, but also the requirements of employees. The challenge was to combine a modern clean design with innovative elements, and technical amenities with a protected historic building. For example, the generous space with high ceilings was, with the aid of the acoustic false ceilings and suspended elements, ingeniously transformed into a cosy and acoustically comfortable working space. Another bespoke design element is the storage space that also serves as a display stand for selected shoe models.
